Labor Day Holiday Scramble

It was another successful Holiday Scramble featuring 59 players comprising 16 teams. After play the teams were sorted into three flights. All ties were broken with a blind draw. The lowest team score was a 59 and the highest was a 73. Weather conditions were perfect. We appreciate the efforts of Jim Bonner, Bennett Junkin, Len Sparks, Jerry Stanley and Mary Barrows for organizing the event. Winning teams were as follows: First Flight, 1st Place - Andrew Finlayson, Ricky Huner and Will Huner with a score of 59. First Flight, 2nd Place - Brody, Chris, Kaden Ingram and Roger Watson, also with a score of 59. Second Flight, 1st Place - BJ & Blaine Williams, Ben Smith and Chase Whitehead with a score of 61.
Second Flight, 2nd Place - Ben Garrison, John Gray, Joel & Pierce Smith shooting 63. Third Flight - 1st Place - Ben, Jacob & Matt Jackson and Chris Wilkinson with a score of 66. Third Flight - 2nd Place - Rob Bangert, Mark Rice, Cole and Ken White shooting a 67.

In addition to the golf event, another 50/50 Raffle was held. The winner of $190 was Bennett Junkin. The other $190 will go towards the golf course. We thank all who participated in this fund raiser.
