Wimbledon Re-Do

The Court Sports Association held a Wimbledon Re-Do event.  It was so named because the original date did not work out and had to be rescheduled. Mark Campbell and Williams Treichel organized the Re-Do Event which took place on Thursday, August 7th in the Ballroom at ECC.  The event began with socializing in the Bar. Those who wore Wimbledon White were treated to a complementary drink. Many enjoyed a decicious Pims cocktail (another Wimbledon tradition). These did not quaify as complementary, but were so delicious that many were happy to pay the extra cost! The meal also had a British flair with fish and chips, smashed peas and strawberries and cream for dessert.

After wining and dining, the group played Country Club on Jeopardy which was facilitated by Mark and William.  There were several winners among the contestants as well as some audience participants. Mary Barrows was the winning contestant. Bill Richardson, Susie Hicks, Martha Shew and Rebecca Howes scored the most points among the audience participants.

It was a delightful evening and we thank Mark and William for making it happen.  We also appreciate our photographer, Kandy Treichel.
