Twelve Teams Participate in 2026 Labor Day Scramble

The field was smaller than last year, but the 48 golfers who participated in this year’s Labor Day Scramble enjoyed lovely conditions – temps in the high 80’s with pleasant breezes.  The 12 teams were divided into two flights after play.

In the First Flight, 3 teams shot scores of 58 with #12 being the regression hole.  The results were as follows:

First Flight – 1st Place – Brody, Chris, Kaden Ingram and Talon Davis.  Their birdie on #10 allowed them to edge out the other two teams.

First Flight – 2nd Place – Ricky and Will Huner, Will Washington and Morris Evans.  Their birdie on #9 allowed them to edge out the third place team.

First Flight – 3rd Place – John Dansby, Donnie Ezell, Tony Robertson and Roger Watson.  Their Par on #9 allowed Huner’s team to edge them out.

Second Flight – 1st Place – Hunter and Josh Jones, Logan Mitchell and Brad Murph with a score of 61.

Second Flight – 2nd Place – Ben, Jacob, Matt Jackson and Jeremy White shot a 62.

Second Flight – 3rd Place – Cameron and James Mims, James Jones and Stan Weiss shot a 63. Their birdie on #12 allowed them to edge out the other team that shot a 63 which was the team of Dennis Biddy, Tom Davis, Charlie Schaeffer and Paul Voors.

We know that golf is a game of skill, but there is also a fair amount of luck involved and those who win by regression are the lucky ones! Another lucky one was Ben Restivo who was the winner of $163 in the 50/50 Raffle. The other half of $162 will go towards the golf course.

As always, we appreciate all who participated in this event and all who contributed to the 50/50 Raffle.  We also want to thank the following:

• Tony and the grounds crew for getting the course in shape.
